Polyolefin hotmelts were developed after the success of EVA hotmelt. A polyolefin polymer has been found to be more thermostable and adhere to a wider range of substrates, especially plastics in extremely cold and hot conditions. PolyOlefine hotmelts are slightly more difficult to formulate and are slightly more expensive than the EVA hotmelt adhesives. It is therefore a nice addition to the range of hot melts.
