Mattress adhesives

Mattress adhesives must be of high quality to guarantee a classy, comfortable end product; After all, there aren't many more important things than sleep. Intercol produces high-quality adhesives for numerous applications in the mattress industry, such as gluing fabrics and fibres, pocket springs and gluing foam. We have a number of efficient adhesives for bonding fabrics and fibers in the mattress industry that are used by manufacturers around the world.

Semi-PSA

EHM 9556 is our semi-psa adhesive that can be used in the construction of mattresses. This hot melt offers good adhesion between foam layers and has a long open time, giving you time to reposition materials until the adhesive bond forms. Some of our mattress adhesives have also obtained the OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certificate, which means that our products are environmentally friendly and not harmful to health.

EHM 6306 is Intercol's general product assembly adhesive suitable for use in the production of mattresses. This adhesive has a long open time but hardens after 24 hours making it ideal for parts that need to be cut after they have been glued.

Foam bonding

Packaged in our Block-with-fusible-film format, EHM 9066 is formulated for use in foam bonding and furniture assembly applications, such as those found in the mattress construction industry. This adhesive has an optimum viscosity that is suitable for both bead and sprayed/swirl application methods. When cool, EHM 9066 can create strong bonds with smooth, silent bonding in finished products. With a long open time and high initial tack, this grade is ideal for adhesive applications where most of the assembly is done by hand and positioning and repositioning is required.
